askdrtroy@hotmail.com BioI am an OB/GYN physician practicing in southeast Michigan. This blog is to provide information on contraception, sexually transmitted infections, fertility, and the general health and well being of the female body. My target audience is adolescent and young adult women who are looking for straight-forward answers on a variety of health related topics. The opinions expressed here, while professional, are my own. I have an unabashed liberal leaning. I welcome opposing points of view if presented in a way that is not meant to be mean-spirited or inspire hostility. Advice you receive online should never replace a physical exam with a physician you trust. If in doubt, get a second opinion. Multiple points of view will give you a well rounded picture of your problem.
